Regulations

The International Research Center of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (AI & IoT) operates under the institutional framework and regulations of Near East University (NEU). The center was formally established in 2023 in accordance with NEU's higher education policies and university senate decisions governing the establishment of research centers.

The center's operations are guided by the following regulatory principles:

Establishment & Oversight: The center operates under the supervision of NEU's Rectorate and is accountable to the university's academic and administrative governance structures.

Research Governance: All research activities are conducted in compliance with NEU's research ethics guidelines, data protection regulations, and academic integrity policies.

Decision Making: Strategic and operational decisions are made through the Center Management Board, which convenes regularly to review progress, set priorities, and ensure alignment with the center's mission and vision.

Quality Assurance: The center adheres to NEU's institutional quality assurance framework, participating in annual internal evaluations and reporting cycles.

Personnel & Responsibilities: Roles, responsibilities, and authorities of center members are defined and communicated through internal operating procedures managed via the center's digital management platform.
